The Wellbeing Project - Announcing The Fall Schedule

Sowing the Seeds for Inner Work

Since early 2020, I’ve been working with meditation teacher Sharon Salzberg for the Wellbeing Project. Their mission is to support activists around the world as they labor on the front lines of love, truth, and justice. This year, they are running a nine-month series on the relation of inner work to social change. Every month, Sharon and I host one or two guests with expertise on the important questions involved. The series is taking an August break, but we’ll be back in the Fall with the following episodes:

Tuesday, Sept. 14: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM Central
Exploring Interconnectedness, featuring Dekila Chungyalpa and Mark Coleman

Tuesday, Oct. 12: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM Central
Embodying Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, featuring Justin Michael Williams and Sará King

Tuesday, Nov. 9: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM Central
Real Change: Bridging our Inner and Outer Worlds, with our hosts Sharon Salzberg and Parker Palmer closing out the series

Here is Wellbeing's description of the 2021 series: "Best-selling authors, speakers, and wisdom teachers Sharon Salzberg and Parker Palmer will be back this year to host a nine-part series exploring inner work for people committed to making difference in the world. On the second Tuesday of every month, Sharon and Parker will be joined by guest speakers from around the globe—poets, activists, and practitioners—to focus on inner and outer wellbeing. Exploring how we can live an 'undivided life' by bridging the inner and the outer, the series will deal with topics like somatic awareness, shadow selves, trauma, and inter-connectedness. Please join us and our global community of engagement!"
